Subject: History Topic: Traces of Modern Indian History
Grade: VIII
Given below are instructions on the topic for the Individual Project of the First Term.
Purpose:
To know the various types of sources of history.To know the uses of these sources of history.
To know the importance of preserving these sources.
To know the ways of preserving these sources.
Students need to present their topic in a scrapbook on the basis of the following guidelines:
Sources of history: -
Various sources of history (any two sources)
Uses of these sources
Need to preserve them
Ways to preserve them
How to go about writing a project?
1) Cover page showing the title, name of the student, name of the school, academic year.
2) Binding of sheets may be done with a string or spiral.
3) First page will feature the contents’ page followed by ‘Introduction page’.
4) Picture cut out should be relevant to the write up.
5) Presenting the facts, information, pictures, etc in paragraphs with suitable headings.
6) Pages should be numbered.
7) Conclusion
8) Bibliography
